After Air Alliance and Vistara, The low cost carrier SpiceJet has announced about its monsoon sale with fares starting from as low as Rs 999. - Inside Drake’s Boeing 767 Private Jet ‘Air Drake’
- Cathay Pacific plans to increase its passenger capacity
- Emirates may resume flights from India July 7 onwards
The Five day sale began on June 25 and people can book their flight tickets till June 30 in order to avail the Spicejet monsoon sale discounts. The offer allows you to book tickets if you are planning to travel in the month of August 2021. This means that people booking the tickets can only book for the time period that lies between 1st August and 31st August 2021. The airline has made an effort to increase the demand and also to attract more passengers which will help SpiceJet to recover from the losses.
The airline is also providing a discount over the Spicejet monsoon discount by providing a voucher worth Rs 1000 to the people who book their flight tickets between July 1 and July 31. This Rs 1000 voucher can be later used to avail discount on future flights between August 1, 2021 and 31 March 2022.
“The special discounted fare offer is valid for all one-way retail fares on direct domestic bookings,” said the SpiceJet official. This clearly means that if a passenger is travelling from Chennai to Hyderabad, the fare would be Rs 999 but on the return flight from Hyderabad to Chennai it would cost Rs 1389 which is still a discounted price. This way, the two-way flight would cost just Rs 2388 (Including taxes). The best deal is for passengers flying between Belgaum and Hyderabad as the Rs 999 fare is available both ways, making it Rs 1998 for a return ticket in August. The Delhi-Mumbai return fare is Rs 4,600 after the discounted price as per the SpiceJet monsoon sale.
Tickets as per the SpiceJet monsoon sale can be booked on the airline website, online travel portals or the SpiceJet mobile app. Cancellation or any type of changes can be made on these tickets as per the normal standard company policies. This offer cannot be clubbed with any other discounts or schemes as per the airline and the seats on the aircraft will be available on first come basis. Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Commercial Officer, SpiceJet said: “We have also partnered with multiple brands to bring special deals to our passengers that will help them save time and money on their daily expenses and healthcare services.”
